01 - WHAT IS WILD TIME

Wild Time is an animal rights/world conservation show, whose aim is to re-connect its listeners to nature and our animal kin and to highlight the plight of our fluffy, furry, feathered and so on friends, while giving on-air time to animal rights groups, animal experts and so on. Environmental groups are also always welcome

02 - WHO MAKES WILDTIME

Wild Time is the brainchild of Thomas Janak, who is an animal rights activist but also a holistic animal healer and shamanic teacher.Thomas has a FETAC 5 qualification in radio program making with merit and distinction and is involved in radio since 2003.

Equally important and responsible for the success of WILD TIME is Nicole Valentin who helps with the research, checks out how to get to all the places and usually takes all the pictures, which one can find on the numerous blogs and web pages.

03 - IS THERE AN ARCHIVE PAGE

The answer to that is “Yes and No”. Wild Time is volunteer run and no one gets paid for anything, therefore we’re using free spaces on websites that allow content to be uploaded. Sometimes the radio station provides an archive page. You can find more information on our numerous blogs (see point HISTORY)

04 - CAN I GET A COPY OF A SHOW

That’s usually out of our hands. Although ,by law, radio stations are required to record all broadcasts, one needs to contact the radio station directly to ask for a copy.

If it is uploaded by ourselves, which is the case with all wildtime online content, we may be able to copy footage for you and send it to you by post, although we will ask you for a donation for that simply because all costs are covered by ourselves as individuals and we don’t want to be out of pocket.

That said – many shows can be downloaded on the numerous pages that provide space for our shows.

05 - WHERE AND HOW CAN I LISTEN TO THE SHOW

For information on that simply follow us on facebook or twitter (see point 6)

06 - ARE YOU ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

Yes, we are. One can follow us on Facebook and Twitter and we encourage our listeners to follow our respective blogs

07 - HOW CAN I GET ON YOUR SHOW AS A GUEST

Well, firstly you need to have something valuable to say and therefore you need to have a background in animal rights and/or care e.g. working as a kennel hand, be an animal rights activist or member of a group. That also applies when we’re talking about the environment
